Identity and Belonging

This is a theme in my work that resurfaces again and again. I have many questions. Given my troubled start to life and having moved from place to place before I found my family, and since then too, I have experienced many homes, cultures and religions; many different rules and ways of being. I question the meaning of home in different contexts, and what it means to belong. I question Identity, and what that means to me and to others. This is an ongoing exploration.
